I thought the EXACTLY same thing as you said! But then I wondered that maybe this is before he began to do Hamds and Naats? Someone told me that before he wasn't very religious but then someone finally made him understand that he should quit singing and use his powerful voice on Islamic things! Alhamdolillah he did =)
