@PakistanisPrince Before 1947 hindi+Urdu=hindustani, but after 1947 hindi speaking peoples are in India and urdu speaking peoples arein pakistan and some parts in India.Actually we both hindu and muslims lived together for more that 800 years but after 1947 we got seperated, but if u go in uk or in canada , they live together and even argu with aangrez if any one faces any problem there.

@PakistanisPrince Urdu majorly has taken 75 to 80 % hindi words with some arabic, persian words that's y we indian and pakistan can talk to each other but u cannot talk urdu to arabic person

totally different language families, man...one is semitic, the other one indo-european. some words may be the same due to islamic/arabic influence. still totally different languages. Urdu is one of four standardized versions of Hindustani.
