Forced sterility would be Eugenics, which is still practiced to this day even in the US. We think we got some great task completed by defeating the evil fascists, but their underlying ideologies still remain, as can plainly be seen in this current drama.

This virtual reality thing is so stupid. How would the people in virtual reality survive? How do they eat? Where does the food come from? What happens when all the VR people die off? Is that it? So very STUPID.
